Wednesday, October 19th

On Wednesday, all events are at the Radisson Hotel, Alafaya Trail, Orlando, FL

9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noonSTEM grantee meeting
1:00 - 4:00 p.m.Pre-conference Sessions (on-line pre-registration required)
  1. FL|CC & service-learning 101 (for those unfamiliar w/ Campus Compact OR less than 5 years in the field)
  2. Digging Deeper w/ Dr. Bob Franco (for those with more than 5 years in the field)
  3. AmeriCorps VISTA site supervisor training (for current supervisors & others interested in hosting a VISTA!)
3:00 - 6:00 p.m.REGISTRATION (hotel lobby)
5:00 p.m.Opening Reception
6:00 p.m.Dinner & opening program (hotel ballroom)


Thursday, October 20th

All sessions on Thursday & Friday are at UCF

7:00 - 8:00 a.m.Complimentary Breakfast for hotel guests at Radisson
8:00 a.m.Depart hotel (via shuttle or drive) to arrive & park at UCF by 8:30 a.m. (see map!)
8:55 a.m.Plenary Session with featured speaker, Dr. Adolph Brown
10:00 - 11:15 a.m.Break out sessions – A (Times are Tentative)
11:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.Break out sessions – B (Times are Tentative)
1:00 - 2:30 p.m.Lunch with featured speaker, Dr. Laura Osteen
2:30 p.m.By popular request, enjoy afternoon reflection & dinner on your own! (or, see separate registration information to attend FL|CC awards gala)

Note: Do not be confused! You are looking at the schedule for the CSD retreat. The separate but simultaneously scheduled faculty session from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. requires separate registration. Non-faculty CSDs are welcome to sit in if space allows.
