2012 SSI Application Now Available »

Application Due: January 6, 2024

Every spring, Florida Campus Compact hosts an exciting student institute filled with interactive dialogue with policy makers, elected officials, dignitaries, and students from all over Florida. This is a unique opportunity for students to build new relationships and expand networks with other participants, while developing a civic voice and reflecting on planned activities. Students will return to their communities with a renewed sense of purpose as an active citizen in our democracy.

We have made every effort to provide a high quality educational experience at a very modest cost. In order to help cover the cost of some meals, the registration fee will be $75. All accepted applicants who live over 50 miles from Tallahassee will be eligible for a lodging scholarship, which includes one room for 2 people for 2 nights (February 26th and February 27th).

Excellence in Service Award

Application Due (postmarked): January 9, 2024

Each year, Florida's college students spend thousands of hours serving their communities while making a lasting difference in the lives of countless individuals. Florida Campus Compact is pleased to honor 3 of Florida's most dedicated student service scholars each year who are making a positive impact through their contribution of service. The student recipients of the 2011 Excellence in Service Awards will each receive free registration to the 2012 Student Scholars' Institute, and visible recognition for their efforts throughout the state. Any full-time college student at an accredited Florida higher education member institution, public or private, is eligible to apply.
