The following are notes taken at In Service Training July 2015:
Listing is Key!
Don't interrupt and give yourself pauses to think.
The naked tip doesn't work for everyone. Sometimes wiggling your toes or finding a focus spot that appears as if your speaking to everyone is helpful.
Ask questions and allow time for them to be answered.
Don't ASS(u)me.
Observe don't absorb.
Respect other views to be open minded. (This does not mean you conform but find a middle ground)
