For the first time, this state-wide institute will address service-learning in K-20, offering multiple sessions dedicated to higher education!
The free institute will include all- and half day trainings, over two
dozen workshops, exemplary project presentations, project displays, awards,
performances, off-site service-learning projects, networking, and association
meetings. National- and state-level experts will provide trainings and workshops;
many workshops will also feature student presentations. There will be supervised
sessions for students throughout the Institute, and you are encouraged to bring
students from middle school and older.
The Institute registration packet will be mailed in early September. Florida
Campus Compact is proud to be a sponsor of this event as part of Florida Alliance
for Student Service and in partnership with the Florida Department of Education
and Volunteer Florida! and has received generous support from State Farm Insurance.
