Broward College ~ Operation Reef Ball
We are so proud of the amazing projects that were completed by our member campuses for the MLK Day of Service!
Broward College students participated in a exciting project, called Operation Reef Ball, that was reported in the Sun-Sentinel!
The students were involved in making reef balls - they designed artificial reef components that will be deployed in the ocean off South Florida as well as Biscayne Bay.
They also presented an educational component to explain the importance of coral reefs and ocean awareness to the community.
