Basic Info
Our website has been designed using xHTML and Cascading Style Sheets for cross-browser compatibility. It is best viewed in Internet Explorer with a screen resolution of 1280 x 1024.

This website is designed for use with all browsers, including Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Opera and Safari. Our Javascript menu appears in the left column and allows visitors to quickly and easily navigate our site.
If you are having trouble navigating this web site, it could be because you have Javascript turned off. You may either use our Site Directory Link, located at the bottom of each page, to navigate our site, or view our Enabling Javascript section at the bottom of this page to make sure you have Javascript activated if you are not seeing our Javascript menu in the left column.
Navigation
The Florida Campus Compact web site is designed to make site navigation as easy as possible. You can use the menu on the left hand side of your screen of most pages to access pages with sets of links and information about specific topics. In addition, most pages contain a basic navigation bar along the bottom with the following options to help you navigate through FL|CC's site:
- Home: Links to Florida Campus Compact's home page at www.FloridaCompact.org
- Site Info: Links to our information page containing information regarding site navigation, file formats, linking and more
- Directory: Links to an index of Florida Campus Compact's main categories and first level sub-categories.
- Contact Us: Links to the Florida Campus Compact contact page with our mailing address, staff e-mail addresses, phone numbers, location map and more.
- Privacy Policy: Links to our Internet and E-mail privacy policies.
File Formats
- PDF Files:
The PDF file format (Portable Document Format), makes sharing documents over the Internet fast, easy and reliable. A well made PDF file will look the same on all computers regardless of operating system, fonts or browser making PDF files most useful for documents intended for printing.
Viewing PDF files requires Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you do not already have Adobe Acrobat Reader, it may be obtained free by visiting the Adobe Website.
- PowerPoint Files:
PowerPoint is a presentation software program included as part of the Microsoft Office package which allows users to create presentations and handouts. By creating PowerPoint "slides," users can add color, images, sounds, and movies to their text presentations.
Viewing PowerPoint files requires a PowerPoint Viewer. If you do not already have one, you may download a free version by visiting the MicroSoft Website.

- In the box that appears next, scroll down until you see the "Scripting" catagory and make sure it is set to "Enable".

- Click on "Edit" and then "Preferences" in your top toolbar.
- In the "Preferences" box that appears, click on "Advanced" and make sure the "Enable Javascript For (Navigator)" is checked.
Firefox 1.X
- Open Firefox.
- Select "Options..." from the "Tools" menu.
- Click the "Web Features icon" on the left panel.
- Check the "Enable JavaScript" checkbox at the bottom.
- Click the"OK" button.
- Click "Reload" on your bowser toolbar.
Safari for OS X
- Open Safari.
- Select "Preferences" from the top tool bar.
- Click "Security".
- Make sure "Enable JavaScript" is clicked.
- Close the window.
- Click "Reload" on your bowser toolbar.
Opera 8.X
- Open Opera.
- Select "Quick Preferences" from the "Tools" menu.
- Make sure "Enable Javascript" is checked.
- Click "Reload" on your bowser toolbar.
Opera 7.X
- Open Opera.
- Select "Quick Preferences" from the "File" menu.
- Make sure "Enable Javascript" is checked.

- Open Opera.
